Sidoarjo – Pada hari Kamis, 19 September 2024, tim promosi SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan melaksanakan kegiatan promosi ke beberapa sekolah dasar Muhammadiyah di wilayah Sidoarjo. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh seluruh tim promosi yang dipimpin oleh Kaur Humas, Muhammad Arif, S.Pd, M.Pd.
Promosi ini terbagi menjadi dua tim. Tim pertama mengunjungi SD Muhammadiyah 1 Candi sejak pukul 08.00 pagi dan berhasil memperkenalkan berbagai program unggulan SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan kepada para siswa kelas 6. Sementara itu, tim kedua memiliki jadwal kunjungan ke tiga sekolah lainnya, yaitu SD Muhammadiyah 2 Waru, SD Muhammadiyah 1 Waru, dan SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati.
Kedua tim memperkenalkan program unggulan SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan, seperti Full Day School dan MBS (Muhammadiyah Boarding School). Program-program ini menjadi daya tarik utama karena menawarkan pendidikan berkualitas yang tidak hanya fokus pada akademik, tetapi juga membentuk karakter siswa melalui kegiatan-kegiatan islami dan pengembangan diri.
Pada kunjungan pertama di SD Muhammadiyah 2 Waru, tim promosi tidak dapat bertemu dengan siswa karena mereka sedang menjalani ujian. Namun, pihak sekolah menyambut tim dengan hangat dan memberikan kesempatan untuk bertemu dengan wali kelas guna menginformasikan acara Mulia Fest 3 yang akan dilaksanakan pada bulan November.
Kunjungan kedua berlangsung di SD Muhammadiyah 1 Waru pada pukul 10.00 hingga 11.00. Tim promosi disambut oleh Kaur Kurikulum dan Kepala Sekolah. Setelah itu, tim melanjutkan perjalanan ke SD Muhammadiyah 1 Sedati, di mana meskipun kepala sekolah sedang rapat, mereka tetap diberi kesempatan untuk mempromosikan SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan kepada siswa kelas 6.

Muhammad Arif, S.Pd, M.Pd., selaku Kaur Humas SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan, menyampaikan bahwa kegiatan ini bukan hanya tentang promosi, tetapi juga sebagai upaya mempererat ukhuwah Islamiyah dan memperkuat silaturahmi antar-sekolah Muhammadiyah. “Melalui sinergi ini, kami berharap terjalin kerja sama yang lebih baik di lingkungan perguruan Muhammadiyah, khususnya di wilayah Sidoarjo,” ujarnya.
Kegiatan promosi ini merupakan bagian dari upaya SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Tulangan untuk memperkenalkan sekolah dan program-program unggulan yang dimilikinya. Selain itu, diharapkan juga dapat menjalin hubungan yang lebih erat dengan sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah lainnya di Sidoarjo, sebagai bagian dari komitmen untuk terus berkembang dan bersinergi dalam dunia pendidikan.
